21 goals

A couple of months ago I did a blog called 23 goals. The post basically outlined 23 things I wanted to do before my 24th birthday. Today is the first of a few updates that I'm gonna be doing to that blog. With that said lets see which goals I've accomplished so far.

1. Get a domain name - If you don't already know about it you may be one of the last 2 people on the planet to not know about it. I now officially own the name The Gangster Government. When you type in that URL it redirects back to this site until I can get the time and ability to build the new site.

2. Get a steady job - This may have been the most important thing on my list and I'm happy to say that I now have a job. I'm working in the main warehouse for a food distribution company. The money is decent and as an added bonus I get health and dental benefits. I plan on keeping this job at least long enough to get several raises and a better position in the company.

The video below is just funny and job related. Also one of the guys in the video looks exactly like one of my coworkers.

Insomniac Theater

As long as I've been alive I don't think I've ever seen Bryant Gumbel get angry,or ever annoyed. Apparently I missed an awesome episode of "the today show" back in 1994. On this episode we see an unusually annoyed side of Bryant Gumbel as he attempts to grasp the concept of the internet. Watch and enjoy this ridiculous television flashback.

Glenn Beck Craziness

In this edition our hero decides to promote his website by playing excerpts from a speech by Jesse Jackson. Of course with this being Glenn Beck this totally means that he will play it one sentence at a time, take it out of context, say that Jesse said the opposite of what Jesse just said and then point out why Barack Obama is evil. During this 3 minute long website promo,Glenn starts talking about the need to abolish the department of education. Listen below as Glenn lets us know that skool isn't kool.

The president speaks

If you somehow missed the state of the union like I did, here's your chance to see it. In his speech the president hits on our need to reform immigration, investing in America and increasing our energy production. Grab something to eat because this is a 63 minute long speech. Watch and enjoy as the president lays out his plans for next year in the video below.

Afternoon Distraction

Earlier today a friend of mine on twitter put me on to something hilarious. It's so hilarious that I haven't stopped laughing for the last few minutes. What he shared with me were a few photos of Bristol Palin's twitter account, which happens to have been hacked at some point during the day. Check out the photos below and enjoy some hilarious mischief.

A dose of insanity

What you're staring at is a photo of Minnesota representative and reason for the name of this blog,Michele Bachmann. Michele Bachmann is known for somehow being in congress despite not being that smart. In another move to surely make her look like a genius she has decided to give a rebuttal speech to the upcoming state of the union. This seems a tad bit weird considering that republicans have already discussed and chosen Wisconsin congressman Paul Ryan as their official person to give a rebuttal to the president's speech. Click on the photo below to learn exactly how congresswoman Bachmann will share her speech with a wide reaching audience.

Midnight Distraction

As a guy and especially as a guy in his early 20's I absolutely love strippers and I love it when non-strippers try to spice things up by stripping. In fact I think I've said that before. Of course I happen to love seeing strippers fail and this one is no different. Look below as one woman tries unsuccessfully to turn all of us on.

Insomniac Theater

Ever wondered what it'll be like to have Sarah Palin as president? The people over at the onion have those same thoughts and they go in depth to explore what might happen if she becomes president. Watch and enjoy the ridiculousness below.

Moment of truth

Earlier today a couple of people from the website Think Progress caught up with Texas representative Ron Paul. During their discussion with him they asked him about why he wanted to repeal healthcare. They also asked why would he repeal the healthcare law aimed at helping average Americans while keeping his own government subsidized healthcare. His answer to that question offers a moment of truth and shows what a lot of politicians really think of regular people.

I've always been a fan of magic. Magic has the ability to amaze crowds and leave people confused and wanting more. When done right, a magic trick can be suspenseful, amusing and very entertaining. When done wrong the results can range from embarrassing to painful to deadly. Below are 2 examples of the same magic trick. Click on the videos below to see what happens.

Video number 1 has the awesome foresight to use one of my favorite songs of all time as background music. Listen to the art of noise while one man amazes you with a spectacular sleight of hand trick.

Video number 2 doesn't have the foresight to use an awesome song from the 80's as background music. Fortunately it has a large breasted assistant and that more than makes up for the lack of music. Look below as one man amazes you with a spectacular sleight of hand trick.

Song of the day

This song has seriously been on my mind all day and now its on yours. Below is probably my favorite song from the soundtrack of the original "Friday" movie starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker. Sit back and enjoy the smooth sounds of K-Dee with his song "hittin corners".

Just killing time here

I haven't posted anything on here in more than 24 hours and thats sad for so many reasons. To make up for this here is a brand new video to laugh at. Click on,look at,laugh at and enjoy the video.

Glenn Beck Craziness

This is the first edition of Glenn Beck craziness for 2011 and with that said this has to be good. Fortunately it is. In this edition our hero lets us know that we are being changed from the inside out here in America. We've become a place thats a little too eager to accept the cultures of others. The latest culture starting to infect our land is the culture of the Chinese. According to Glenn this may spell destruction for our country. Click on the video below to hear about our slippery slope towards death.

Changing history

America has had a long, strange, complicated and sometimes ugly trip to get to where it is today. We started out as a country where certain people were considered to be slightly less important than cattle while other people were having land stolen from them. Of course in the last 235 years we've changed a lot. We now have a society where most people get equal rights. People who once never thought of associating can now openly and freely associate. We've come to the point that we have a president who just happens to be black. The point of this is that America has made tremendous strides towards becoming an amazing society and we have a lot to be proud of. We shouldn't disregard some of the uglier parts of our history. Without the ugliness of our past the historic election of president Barack Obama would not have been a big deal at all. With all of this said there are a few people who would like to change the way we teach history just a little bit. These people feel that we're being a little too mean to the founding fathers for pointing out that while they fought for America to become free from the grips of English control they also felt it was perfectly ok to rob Native Americans blind and have slaves. To find out more about that click on the photo below and be amazed by the complete lack of logic.

Random act of failure

This random act of failure really is kind of a double dose of ridiculousness. In our first act we see why the idea of spacing is so important when it comes to typing. Look at,laugh at and enjoy the first photo.

In the second piece to this hilarious posting we see a shop with a hilariously nasty name. Look at,laugh at,enjoy and share both photos.

Just killing time here

Kinda killing some time here but you're gonna love it. Below is a song thats been on my mind a lot. It also happens to be something that I gave away to you as a gift a couple of weeks ago. Click on the video, listen to the song and if you like it click here and download the song and a ton of other free music.

A dose of insanity

It has been 4 very long days since a psycho in Arizona opened fire on a congresswoman and a crowd of innocent people. His act of insanity left 6 people dead and several others critically injured. Since this tragedy members of congress have come out to denounce what happened and have shown concern over some of the heated political rhetoric in this country. One person who has been criticized for violent rhetoric is former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin. As everyone knows by now representative Giffords' district was on a map drawn up by SarahPAC that included cross hairs. The fact that she's being criticized about violent rhetoric and imagery does not sit well with Sarah Palin. Get ready to be baffled as Sarah Palin turns herself into the real victim of a tragedy that has a congresswoman teetering between life and death and 6 people including a 9 year old girl dead.

This may be one of my favorite comedy routines of all time. In this routine Chris Rock talks about gun control. This routine is more than a decade old but its extremely relevant today. Sit back, laugh, enjoy and share with everyone else.

Afternoon Distraction

The North American International Auto Show is only 5 days away from being opened to the public and to say that I'm excited is an understatement. The auto show is kinda like a second Christmas wrapped in the 4th of July for the city of Detroit. Not only do we get a huge event for all of the car fanatics here but it brings in hundreds of millions of dollars of business to the city and surrounding suburbs. With that said the good news from the auto show is already rolling in. Click on the picture below to see the new Chevy Sonic which will be built just outside of Detroit.

In another stroke of great news check out what Ford is trying to do with its lineup of electric cars.

Limbaugh lunacy

In this edition Rush decides to talk about the tragedy that took place in Arizona. Understandably he's very shaken up and upset by the sheer level of madness and insanity. During his diatribe about the shootings he decides to place the blame for this tragedy where it really belongs....On anyone not conservative and especially not on Sarah Palin. In fact he accuses democrats of being gleeful about the shootings. He thinks this way because as he sees it they're gonna use this tragedy to censor anyone that disagrees with them and throw Sarah Palin under the bus. Listen below as one man comes unhinged in the span of 5 minutes.

Random act of failure

Bad spelling happens to be a huge pet peeve of mine. It makes me almost violently angry when a 23 year old with a college degree misspells simple words. I know that no ones perfect but misspelling simple things is annoying. Also I hate it when people misuse "your" and "you're". Below is probably the worst misuse of those 2 words I've ever seen.

Picture of the day

Yesterday in Arizona a string of tragic events took place thanks to an insane man who somehow was able to get a handgun without a permit. When this terrorist was done with his murderous spree 6 people were dead and another 14 were wounded including Arizona congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Now to add on to the ridiculousness the Westboro Baptist "church" is planning on throwing another ridiculous publicity stunt by protesting the funerals of the people who happened to die during Saturday's tragic events. Read more about it by clicking on the photo below.

Random act of failure

Spring will be here in just a couple of months and I'm personally more than ready for it. I'm getting a little sick of the cold winter months and there's a few things I kinda want to fix around the house. Of course this means that this spring I'll be spending a good chunk of time at Home Depot and trying my hardest to avoid horrible forklift drivers. Click on the video below to see what I'm talking about.

Just killing time here

I meant to post this earlier and totally forgot to do it. With that said it feels good to actually know that I'm not this guy. I wont write anymore. In fact I'll just let the video do the talking.

The Lyin' King

Anyone that knows anything about republican politics knows that republicans have been fiercely opposed to the president's healthcare law. In fact when it was originally passed no republican voted in favor of it and currently they're planning a vote to repeal the healthcare law. This of course is something that doesn't sit well with the president and he's made sure to have his people talk about how repealing the law would be an awful idea. One congressman who has been against the law since its beginnings and is pushing hard for a repeal is Steve King of Iowa. He's been one of the biggest opponents of the law and is in favor of members of congress getting rid of their own government subsidized healthcare plans. One person that agrees with him is freshman congressman Joe Walsh of Illinois. Representative Walsh has decided to save the taxpayers a few bucks and pay for his own plan out of his pocket. Steve King likes representative Walsh and his ability to stand on principle,of course if Steve King stood on his own principle we would be saving even more money. Look and listen below as Steve King is unable to stand on his own principles of being against government funded healthcare.

Random act of failure

There really isn't much to say here. Sometimes people word sentences the wrong way and it can lead to problems. Of course I don't think that this is a wrongly worded sentence, just kinda stupid. Look at and be amazed at the photo below.

Midnight Distraction

What you're staring at is a picture of two tennis superstars. The star players happen to be Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer and yes they're playing on water. The Photo was taken to promote the Qatar ATP Open Tennis tournament. To see how the tournament has been going so far feel free to click on the photo below.

Looking up

Recently the president has been getting a lot of flack from both sides of the aisle for his policy decisions. Pundits have basically been on tv on a daily basis pointing out how and why Barack Obama sucks as a president and as a person. The constant narrative has been that the overwhelming majority of the American people don't like this guy. Is this true? Click on the picture to find out what Americans really think of the president according to the newest Gallup poll.

Just killing time here

I haven't posted anything new on here in a minute but this should make up for it. On new years eve I basically relaxed at home with the people who are most important to me. Of course this included watching tv,eating and just generally being silly. What I happened to miss on tv was this hilarious moment of Snooki meeting Snooki and preparing for 2011. Watch, laugh enjoy and have a nice day.

Random act of failure

Cleanliness is something that I take very seriously, I don't really enjoy the feeling of being dirty. It just feels horrible to me. I would like to think that other people share my passion for not looking and smelling like a pile of rotting skunk carcases that have just been sprayed by 4 live skunks. With that said I've found a new product to keep my hands and yours clean with.
