Just killing time here

First and foremost I want to thank The Political Carnival for refreshing my memory on this awesome subject. As everyone knows a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit Virginia earlier today. Luckily there wasn't much damage and no one died but the quake was strong enough to be felt as far away as here in Detroit. Back in March when Japan got hit by an insanely strong earthquake house majority whip and Stephen Colbert lookalike Eric Cantor actually proposed cutting funding for the USGS. This seemed very douchetastic at the time and now it just comes across as ironic seeing as the epicenter of today's quake was in his district in Virginia. Look at the photos below to see the epicenter of the quake and how it lines up with Eric Cantor's district.

the first photo shows where the quake hit.

The second photo shows where Cantor's district is. His district is highlighted in purple.
