Glenn Beck Craziness

In this triumphant return to what has been my longest running series on this site Glenn Beck talks about political correctness and race. He talks about things such as honor and courage and how we all need it. He then goes on to wonder why he calls black people African American when he's not in America. Why must he feel bad when calling niggers colored? Why is the word colored so bad? Its not like he's calling them monkeys, spooks, gator bait.bluegum baboons and niggers? Its only right that you call black people colored because they are a color aren't they. And why must we insist on using the term African American because of the simple fact that most black people can't trace their roots back to a specific country thus making the term useful in at least identifying with their African heritage? Maybe I'm reading too much into this. Listen and judge for yourself.

Random act of failure

I don't think I really need to write much here. In all seriousness a picture is worth 1000 words and this photo speaks for itself. The one thing it doesn't say however is that this isn't even on the main page of failblog yet so this is kind of a win for me. Look at,laugh at,enjoy and share the photo below.

Flash Flood

With hurricane Irene currently tearing up the eastern seaboard the news has deservedly focused on the weather. The flash floods, heavy rain, wind speeds of up to 115mph and unfortunately a couple of needless deaths. What you may have missed however is this weather report from Virginia Beach. During the report we get to hear about how the storm is heading straight for the town and how it could be extremely destructive. Also you get to see a guy flash a weather channel report. Enjoy as one man shows the world that small things come in small packages. Oh and you probably shouldn't play this in front of the kids.

Breaking news

Pat Robertson is still crazy. Also,it seems that he doesn't want to freak you out and get all weird but the earthquake was clearly a sign. That's right! The earthquake was a sign from God that America sucks. Watch below as he explains his theory.

Picture of the day

I haven't updated this site in a few hours but lets make up for it right now. Below is not one but 3 photos that are all related and awesome. Get ready for 2 fails and a win.

Just killing time here

First and foremost I want to thank The Political Carnival for refreshing my memory on this awesome subject. As everyone knows a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit Virginia earlier today. Luckily there wasn't much damage and no one died but the quake was strong enough to be felt as far away as here in Detroit. Back in March when Japan got hit by an insanely strong earthquake house majority whip and Stephen Colbert lookalike Eric Cantor actually proposed cutting funding for the USGS. This seemed very douchetastic at the time and now it just comes across as ironic seeing as the epicenter of today's quake was in his district in Virginia. Look at the photos below to see the epicenter of the quake and how it lines up with Eric Cantor's district.

the first photo shows where the quake hit.
The second photo shows where Cantor's district is. His district is highlighted in purple.

video of the day

I doubt that everyone in America has seen those "Pure Michigan" commercials which encourages people to visit the lovely state that I live in. If not go check out a few of them. They really do show off the beauty of this great state. Also, feel free to visit Michigan because you are always welcome to stop by. With that said the video below is a spoof of those amazing ads. This one in particular hits very close to home for me because it asks and then answers a question that I have had on my mind for a long time. I know that at least one of you will laugh until it hurts after seeing this.

If you missed it

Last night Jon Stewart took some time to praise Warren Buffet for pointing out that rich people pay a smaller tax percentages than average Americans. As expected Fox news does not like the idea of rich people paying a few extra dollars in taxes every year. Watch below as Jon Stewart points out the stupidity.

Song of the day

Why am I posting this? Well I'm doing it because I need to. I haven't done anything on here in a few days. On top of that this song has been stuck in my head for a few days now. With that said feel free to let this Lil Wayne song get stuck in your head.

random act of failure

I'm just kinda keeping a theme going today. Feel free to laugh.

Just killing time here

If you have been one of the 12 people visiting this site for the past 2 years you may know a few facts about it. You may know that this site is named after a clip of Minnesota congresswoman Michele Bachmann trying to bash President Barack Obama. You can see that clip below and you can also see the best picture of a presidential candidate ever. Why am I posting the picture? I'm posting it because it is hilarious to me. You can yell about it being sexist but we both know that you laughed when you saw it. With that said sit back, enjoy and laugh once again at the Iowa state fair.
