With Christmas being just 4 days away everyone seems to be in the holiday spirit. I happen to be in the holiday spirit despite my finances being less than festive at the moment. Of course if you do have the ability you should always buy something nice for your family members and friends. Whatever you do,don't buy a kid a book for Christmas. Trust me on that one.

hmmm...I actually don't think that's funny. I think that little episode is a sad sad commentary on the state of our society today.
I know folks'll probably say, "Oh lighten up. He's just a kid," but I feel sorry for that kid...and his parents.
The little brat should be grateful that he got *something* for Christmas, even if it was books...some kids don't get *anything*.
Wow, I agree with the other comments. The parents are condoning an ungrateful, bratty attitude. No wonder "Johnny can't read". Books are an awesome gift~!
Also agree with the author, and guess it's not the best gift to buy little kids anymore - well, I guess it depends on the kid. I don't think I'll buy this kid anything~! lol
