This may not have been on the cable news networks today but this is some truly awesome news for America. In particular it's great news for Michigan. The Obama administration recently awarded the state of Michigan $200million to upgrade rail lines and a piece of another $336 million to purchase high performance trains and equipment to build a high speed rail network between Detroit and Chicago.
