Flash Flood

With hurricane Irene currently tearing up the eastern seaboard the news has deservedly focused on the weather. The flash floods,heavy rain,wind speeds of up to 115mph and unfortunately a couple of needless deaths. What you may have missed however is this weather report from Virginia Beach. First and foremost I want to thank The Political Carnival for refreshing my memory on this awesome subject. As everyone knows a magnitude 6.0 earthquake hit Virginia earlier today. Luckily there wasn't much damage and no one died but the quake was strong enough to be felt as far away as here in Detroit.
