The economy has been horrible the last couple of years and everyone knows that. A lack of hiring and a ton of firing has had the economy stagnated and sometimes going backwards for the last couple of years. Of course some of our elected officials have been trying to remedy this awful situation. Recently democrats in the senate tried to pass a bill to encourage companies to focus more on hiring American workers instead of outsourcing jobs to places like India. As expected it was filibustered by republicans. Read more about the filibuster in the photo below.
