15 years ago today the man who many,including myself consider to be the greatest rapper of all time died. Tupac Shakur was just 25 years old when he died in 1996. Though it's been 15 years his influence in hip hop music is beyond obvious and his songs and lyrics still resonate with millions of fans. About two years ago the song below was selected by the Vatican to be on their Myspace music playlist because of its positive message. Tupac may be gone but he will never be forgotten by rap fans. Thanks for sharing this. Major loss when he died. I think it's funny - actually, really cool - that the samples for this song were from like the whitest guy on the planet - Bruce Hornsby (Canadian). Which artfully emphasizes our connections and commonalities as people - race irrelevant.
