Remember last week when Jim Bunning blocked the vote on extending unemployment benefits because he was suddenly worried about the deficit? Yeah I'm sure you remember that, especially if you're one of the millions of people currently looking for work. What a lot of people didnt know was that within that same bill was a provision to extend funding to national transportation programs or to put that in even simpler English...money to fix the roads and build bridges. With that funding now dried up and expired this literally means that federal inspectors cant inspect road and bridge work which means that construction workers cant work until there are federal inspectors there making sure everything is safe and up to code. Congrats senator Bunning not only have you screwed over Americans who are having a tough time right now. You've also found a way to put us at a safety risk and halt productivity in this country. Now thats what I call a 2 for 1 special of douchebaggery. You can contact Senator Jim Bunning by clicking here and figuring out which office you want to call him at and remember to thank him the next time you run over a gigantic pothole.
Update: It turns out that not only did senator Bunning block unemployment benefits and funding for the department of transportation. Also included in that bill was a provision to stop a 21 percent pay cut for doctors who care for patients who have Medicare. This means that this isnt just a 2 for 1 special on douchebaggery this is a March Madness clearance sale on being a dick
