The 2008 presidential election was an epic event. It was historic. It for the first time made it super easy to figure which candidate was which. One of them was an old white guy and the other was a middle aged black guy. Of course they differed on policies and whatnot but the point still remains that there was literally no way to confuse the two. Three years later we have now figured out how to confuse the two. Its either that or the people that work for this news station are idiots.
