Gangsta Gangsta

In a new gang assessment report the FBI has made some rather shocking claims about the role hip hop music plays in gang culture. In the report the FBI states that rap related events are being used to launder drug money and recruit kids to be in gangs. The report also takes the time to single out the fanbase of Michigan rap-rock group "Insane Clown Posse"(also known as Juggalos) for some of the activity they may have been doing. The FBI says that some kids have been organizing, laundering money,selling...

Herman Cain wants to Dougie

The dougie is a very popular dance that has been around for a few years. It's so simple that pretty much anyone can do it. I'm not even a dancer and I can do it. My sister can do it pretty good and even my grandma can hit a dougie with no problem. It doesn't take much to do it and that helps make the dance a popular go to move for kids everywhere whenever a party is happening or about to happen. If you know anything about hip hop you may realize that the dance was named after hip hop pioneer/legend...

Just killing time here

Halloween is just around the corner. In fact it's in less than 2 days. As a kid I was always a big fan of putting on a costume and spending the night partying, going trick or treating, playing pranks on old people and on occasion stealing candy from slower, weaker kids. One thing I never got to do however is get candy in a rich neighborhood. It may be because I grew up in a non-affluent(poor) neighborhood and on occasion we moved to other eerily similar neighborhoods. What I'm saying is that I and...

Video of the day

Have you ever wondered what happens when an escaped mental patient meets up with a vaguely very racist sheriff? Have you wondered what happens when they decide to join forces to take down what they see as the biggest threat to ever grace the shores of America? This threat that they see is in the form of a foreign born, genetically engineered supervillain who has come to power through sheer deception, trickery and evil. This threat has been systematically destroying everything that you and I love about America. And he even has an entire organization backing him as he does it. Are you wondering why...

Ever wonder what it would look like if the land in this country were divided like the wealth in this country? Well now you have a helpful photo to show you what it looks like....

Afternoon distraction

By now the entire world knows about the occupy wall street movement and the massive protests that have been taking place all around the country. How can you not know when it's on tv everyday and with what happened at the protest in Oakland,California the other day. What we don't get to hear enough of is the plight of the true victims in this American "economy". I'm talking about the top 1%. The same people who only control a measly 43% of the nations total wealth. Just because they've seen their income increase by 275% since right before Ronald Reagan took office doesn't mean that they aren't...

Sleepless Nights

As I write this it's 4:45am and I am yet again unable to sleep. I'm sitting here typing away, posting links to different websites, tweeting and watching the morning news. Off topic but this city is just filled with amazing looking women doing the news. And now I'm gonna move back on topic which happens to be sleeplessness. I've always wondered what keeps me up at night. Is it my health? Is it stress? Is it the fact that I'm still having a hard time finding steady work? Is it my fear of dying broke?...

Midnight Distraction

It's almost Halloween and of course this is one of my favorite times of the year. It's one of my favorite times of the year because on the inside I'm really just a 23 year old,6 foot tall, 255lb kid with a beard and responsibilities. In fact I think I may need to find a Halloween costume pretty soon if I plan on looking right. I don't think I'll find it at this store though...

Just killing time here

I haven't posted anything on here in a couple of hours and that is about to change. Many(all) of you may know of a rapper named 50 cent. In fact if you've listened to a radio at some point between 2003 and today you've heard of him. He's a rapper, flavored water spokesman, energy drink entrepreneur and record company executive. He's also trying to promote a new drink and a new album and build some good PR for his charity ventures. Oh and he's adding himself to the list of hip hop heavy hitters that are in support of the occupy wall street movement. Click and watch the entire interview from CNBC's...

Raising Cain

In this edition I may be super late on posting the best thing ever. Luckily for everyone I need something to pass the time on this site and I know for a fact that you love looking at greatness. With that said here is today's daily greatness. It comes in the form of quite possibly one of the best campaign ads ever. Watch below as Herman Cain's chief of staff explains why Herman Cain is the right black man to be in the white house...

No escapin it

In some very, very, very, very good news several Swiss banks may be on the verge of doing something big. And by something big I mean that they may be ready to reveal to the world just who's been evading taxes here in America. The news comes after a long criminal probe by the US government into the rampant tax evasion by some of our more wealthy citizens. One of the main defendants in this probe is Credit Suisse Group AG who the IRS says has been helping people evade taxes for years. You can learn more...

Investing in the future

Starting Monday president Obama will be going across the country trying to get the message out about his plans to help out people currently struggling in this economy. His new initiatives will focus on the housing crisis and student loan debt. The Obama administration has spent a lot of time working with the Federal Housing Finance Agency to figure out a way to help out people effected by the housing crisis and what they've come up with are a few tweaks to the current mortgage rules. The exact tweaks...

Midnight Distraction

It's still midnight somewhere which means that this post still makes sense. Not too long ago I posted about Casey Anthony finally getting an iPhone. That post went on to get a nice chunk of hits and I'm happy for that. With those hits I got some ad clicks and decided to see what could be bought with the revenue. *Most of the entire statement above is a total lie and the picture below was actually found via twitter. Rushing into action

Russell Simmons has been known for many, many things throughout the years. Obviously he's known as a pioneer, mogul and legend in the music industry. A fashion mogul. The owner of his own line of debit cards. The older brother of legendary rapper and RUN-DMC front man Joseph "Reverend Run" Simmons. Of course more recently he has been known for his GlobalGrind website and his philanthropy. One more thing that he's getting attention for is his staunch support of the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Occupy...

Random act of failure

The 2008 presidential election was an epic event. It was historic. It for the first time made it super easy to figure which candidate was which. One of them was an old white guy and the other was a middle aged black guy. Of course they differed on policies and whatnot but the point still remains that there was literally no way to confuse the two. Three years later we have now figured out how to confuse the two. Its either that or the people that work for this news station are idiots....

The end is near

As you may or may not know already, we only have a few hours left to live. At least that's the prediction according to 90 year old stroke victim Harold Camping. In fact if you're reading this you may be the last person alive and I thank you for reading this site as your last act in this life on earth. Personally I'm a little sad that I wont accomplish a lot of the goals I had outlined for this year and my life. The world is going to end before I ever get the chance to sleep with Sofia Vergara and...

Just killing time here

Today has been a day filled with breaking news. In fact everyday is kinda like that. Of course we have 24hour news channels to keep us up to date on whats happening in the world. Below is cable news doing what it does best, letting the world know when something big is happening. Look at,laugh at,enjoy and share the photo below...

Raising Cain

In the last edition of raising cain I pointed out how Herman Cain and his 999 tax plan were making a ton of noise in the GOP primary. In fact he's kinda been the man these past few weeks. Of course now that he's leading people are going to point out the flaws in his plan. One thing also being pointed out is the fact that his plan is pretty much the same as the default tax rates on Sim City 4. Check out what the makers of Sim City thinks of this shocking similarity by watching the video below. Also, you can get sim city 4 for only $9.99 for a limited time in honor of Herman Ca...

No love

The other night I got on here and talked about the importance of safe sex. In fact it even included a link about how teenagers are starting to do more to protect themselves and I included a link to where you could buy some protection for yourself. Of course sometimes people just don't have the money for things like contraceptives. It's nothing to be ashamed of,it just happens for a myriad of reasons. If people like Rick "the mix" Santorum had their way, we would not fund any sort of contraception....

reaching out to minorities.

In this amazing blog posting I'm going to take a look at some of the ridiculous things that gets on tv as "news". Get ready to be flabbergasted. In this first video we get to see former klansman and current republican strategist Pat Buchanan discuss minorities. In the discussion Pat goes on to point out that minorities are lazy, shiftless, stupid and dependent on the government. Thanks to this dependence on the government minorities will always vote for democrats. Also, we may be running out of white people. Get ready to be amazed and possibly offended if you're someone who doesn't like old racists. In...

wake up call

I haven't posted in a while but that's about to change. In fact let's change it by starting your day with something funny. Click and enjoy the funniest part of last week's SNL. A sketch so funny that it actually offended frothy mix Santorum. Seriously go and google that name when you're not on a work computer and click on the image search if you're brave. As I was saying earlier, enjoy the show....

Midnight Distraction

It's still midnight somewhere and that means that some of us(me) would love to have a little fun right now. In fact I'm feeling kinda awesome right now. I'm gonna sit here and type about the awesomeness of sex. Sex can be an amazing, fun filled, awkward and thrilling experience. Or at least that's how it is for me. For me it's never bad because I'm always happy to be involved and a positive attitude always helps when it comes to getting it in. You don't want to get in a room with a woman and start...

Just killing time here

I've heard nothing but positive reviews about the brand new iPhone. It's supposedly faster, better, has more features and is just all around awesome. One thing that Apple products are known for is how user friendly they are. They've made it their mission to make things simple, easy and helpful. I think they may have made this app a tiny bit too helpful though. Either that or Casey Anthony has a new phone...

Afternoon distraction

When you think of Bill Gates many things come to mind. Software maven, college dropout, humanitarian, philanthropist, the man behind the XBOX and of course the worlds most famous nerd. One thing you wont associate with Bill Gates is the phrase "world class athlete" but as this video proves, he may have been at least a decent one back in the day. Of course he probably needed that leaping ability to get away from bullies when he was a teen but the point is that Bill isn't the typical out of shape nerd. Raising Cain

In recent weeks Herman Cain has been the surprising star of a very crowded and ever evolving GOP primary field. His biggest asset has been his 999 tax plan which not only sounds like a great price for a pizza and 2liter pop combo but also literally explains everything in his plan according to him. The plan would set income tax at 9%,sales taxes at 9% and tax business income at 9%. The simplistic and easy to remember plan is clearly appealing to people until you get into the details. One glaring...

All time low

I've been saying this for the last few years and it seems that America agrees with my assumption about congress sucking. This congress has seriously been underwhelming. They've found ways to get nothing done while blaming everyone but themselves for their own malfeasance and incompetence. Now that America agrees with me on this congress now has it's lowest job approval rating ever. How low is it? Click on the photo below to find out. Also the president is hovering near a personal worst when...

Rushing towards ridiculousness

In this edition our hero takes on the "idea" of "green" energy. He hates the idea of solar, wind and hydroelectricity so much that he actually thinks that it's kinda gay. I'm seriously not kidding on that last sentence. Here is an exact quote from the clip below "Green Energy Is The Province Of Sissies" and it may in fact be somewhat bad for the economy to invest in an energy that wont be going away anytime soon. Now that you have an idea of whats about to happen feel free to enjoy a draft dodging Rush Limbaugh spout aimlessly about what he thinks is wrong with America...

Midnight Distraction

I honestly have nothing to say here. I could spend all night typing just to fill up space and have you read my redundancy. It would be silly and ridiculous to do so and it's why I'm not gonna waste much time at all sitting here typing in another sentence that doesn't get to the point of what I'm trying to do in this blog post. In fact I wont even write a description of whats about to take place below. I'll just let you see for yourself and be either impressed or very impressed by impressive acts of impressiveness. Click, watch and be amazed. Oh and don't forget to share because it ain't no fun...

dying with laughter

Over the last few days I have learned that jokes about death aren't funny to everyone. To me pretty much anything can be funny in the right circumstances. Of course like everyone I have my lines that I don't cross but death isn't one of them. If you die doing something stupid, expect me to laugh about it. On occasion I even make jokes about my own impending death. Just to cheer myself up on a particularly awful day I may joke about killing myself. I have learned that on twitter people take this seriously....

Terror on trial

I think a lot of people may have forgotten about this but America is actually trying a terror suspect in a regular courtroom and so far nothing crazy has happened. On Christmas day 2009 police say that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab tried to blow up a flight heading towards Detroit-Metro Airport with a bomb inside of his underwear. After initially pleading guilty to those charges,Abdulmutallab decided to withdraw that guilty plea and represent himself at his terror trial. This terror trial happens to...

Random act of failure

It is now starting to get a little colder outside. Of course you knew this because it's autumn and that's what happens during autumn. With the change in season we are starting to see less and less warm days. Pretty soon we'll be reminiscing on those warm summer days where we got to enjoy good times with good friends out on a lake. We'll miss the girls in bikinis showing off the spectacular bodies that they spent all spring getting into shape for that very moment. We'll miss feeling of lighting the barbecue grill while sipping on a refreshing(preferably alcoholic) drink. What we wont miss however...

Thuggin'

In my 23 years of life I have experienced a lot of crazy things. Part of this is attributed to the fact that I didn't grow up in the nicest of neighborhoods. In fact I don't exactly live in a nice neighborhood now. Being an almost lifelong Detroiter has allowed me to see some insanity. Before the age of 18 I've seen people beaten, robbed, shot at,shot, run over and then robbed after being run over. Since the age of 18 I've seen much of the same thing but actually worse and more violent. This doesn't count the things that have happened to me and people close to me. What I'm saying is that I've been...

making moves

I'm going to try to make this very, very short and sweet. I know that during the last few months I haven't been updating nearly as much on this site. Of course there are a myriad of personal reasons behind that, that happened to be out of my control. As for the future I will still be on this site trying to reach my eventual goal of 500,000 hits a week but I'll also be doing something else entirely while doing this. What I will be doing is writing a news column for a new hip hop site. So if you're...

Glenn Beck Craziness

In a world where Islam is seen as a race and not a religion despite the fact that hundreds of millions of people of all races follow the teachings of Islam. A world where there is an ongoing war between the news and the truth. A world where we have to pretend that all people are created equally when some people clearly aren't equal. A world where we still have radical elements like the new black panthers or as I like to call it "4 guys in a Hyundai" running around and scaring real Americans. A world where we have people claiming that Texas was once a part of Mexico for the simple fact that we...

10 years

Today is the tenth anniversary of the start of the war in Afghanistan. Throughout the years the war has been completely overshadowed in this country by other world events such as the war in Iraq, the pope dying, the historic election of Barack Obama and sideshows such as Casey Anthony and the media circus surrounding the death of Michael Jackson. Check out this CBS report that goes over some of the bigger moments in the longest war in American history. ...

Herman Cain is a man known for many things. He's a Morehouse college graduate,a business owner, a CEO, an author, creator of the 999 plan and a front runner among republican presidential candidates. On the brink

In news that surprises no one the economy is still in awful shape despite the best efforts of congress to do nothing to fix it. The economy is in such horrible shape that fed chairman Ben Bernanke says that the country may be on the brink of faltering and becoming shockingly worse. Fortunately for us Bernanke is saying that the fed may indeed take a couple of steps to keep us and the world from going into a deep depression. Midnight Distraction

Dealing with other people in the workplace can be difficult. There are always the inevitable moments of water cooler gossip, forced friendliness and parking lot fist fights over unpaid football debts. One more gigantic issue that a lot of people have to deal with at their workplace is sexual harassment. Glenn Beck Craziness

I haven't done this in a while but it's because Glenn hasn't been laughably crazy in a minute. Of course that changes today as Glenn talks to a caller about the ongoing protests on wall street and across the country. During this three minute conversation we get to learn that the caller watches a lot of fox news. We also learn that Glenn has a theory as to why the protests are happening and it all comes back to a man named Stephen Lerner. Oh and we find out that Glenn thinks that fox news may be...

Just killing time here

Many of you, or probably all of you may have never heard of Polish politician Jedrzej Wijas. In fact I know very little about him. What I do know however is that he has found a way to use the power of music to make a name for himself. Of course by that I mean that he has hired a death metal band to do his latest campaign ad and it's getting a ton of hits online all around the planet. Feel free to add a few more by clicking below....
