how low can you go

Yesterday I blogged about how the people at Bungie were trying to help the relief effort in Haiti by selling t-shirts and donating a small amount of money for every person that uses a special emblem for their character while playing Halo 3 or Halo 3 ODST. well the small donations are pretty much piling up into thousands of dollars and for the most part most people are happy with that. I say most people because today while playing Halo 3 along with Drebone we happened to run into a racist that pretty much went on a rant against it. his exact words were "fuck Haiti. it's not my fault those stupid niggers were caught in an earthquake." for the rest of the load time and during the game he kept voicing his displeasure at the fact that a video game company would actually have enough of a heart to help out with relief efforts. how stupid can people be? seriously? all you have to do is turn on your xbox,put in the disc for Halo 3 or ODST and play and you're helping a good cause but somehow that pisses people off. i didnt know people could be that uncaring. its not like they're asking you to do a lot. it wouldnt surprise me if that guy (whose screen name on xbox live is RipVonWinkle) was a member of this group i blogged about yesterday which has had thousands of complaints filed against them but is somehow still up because they changed the title of the group from "Fuck Haiti" to "No fucking tax money for Haiti". same guys,same mission,different group name...same ridiculous amounts of stupidity
