lets talk about Haiti

this time its former NBA scrub Paul Shirley who is talking about Haiti and its not good at all. in fact its pretty damn offensive. on a website that he works at he writes about Haiti,the earthquake and the consequences of that quake( 200,000 may be dead). in his letter he writes such idiocies as "I don’t think the guy with the sign that reads “Need You’re Help” is going to do anything constructive with the dollar I might give him. If I use history as my guide, I don’t think the people of Haiti will do much with my money either." if you think thats bad it actually gets stupider and way worse. in his letter which can be seen by clicking here he blames the devastation of the quake on the people of Haiti for basically being stupid and beneath him. mighty insulting and stupid words from a man that only averaged a point and a half for his career and got cut from the T-wolves in favor of Mark "mad dog" Madsen. now if you think I'm just ranting for no reason check out this entry from his letter and tell me if this doesnt sound like inappropriate amounts of arrogant douchebaggery

First of all, kudos on developing the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Your commitment to human rights, infrastructure, and birth control should be applauded.

As we prepare to assist you in this difficult time, a polite request: If it's possible, could you not re-build your island home in the image of its predecessor? Could you not resort to the creation of flimsy shanty- and shack-towns? And could some of you maybe use a condom once in a while?

Now I get that Paul Shirley had an NBA career that basically amounted to nothing and he wants some of that limelight back but using one of the worst disasters in the history of this planet as an excuse to show the world you're a douchebag is a dick move of epic proportions thats only designed to get you attention on the internet and maybe ESPN because everyone knows the only other time theyre ever going to mention you on sports center is when you get dunked on by a decent basketball player

he only played 18 games in his NBA career and its ridiculously difficult to find a picture of him in an NBA uniform on google image search

He only scored 33 points in his entire NBA career to put this in perspective Kevin Durant is averaging almost 30 points per game this year and Michael Jordan averaged slightly over 30 per game for his career

He played a total of 121 minutes in his entire NBA career. you could watch 1 entire episode of WWE friday night smackdown and it will be the exact same length of his total playing time in the NBA

there are no highlights of him playing basketball on youtube. believe me i've searched and couldnt find one
